7 About SELECT Lehigh Valley Health Network and USF share a dream about the future of health care. This vision surpasses our geographic differences. Students are connected with faculty mentors at USF and LVHN from the start Students complete Years 1 and 2 at the USF College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida, a metropolitan with a wealth of diverse patient populations Students spend Years 3 and 4 Lehigh Valley Health Network, one of America’s Best Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report in Allentown, Pennsylvania As a SELECT medical student, you will learn how to lead the accelerating pace of scientific discovery, strive for more public accountability, control health care costs through lean methodologies, eliminate national disparities in health care quality, help eliminate medical errors and effectively reduce the burden of chronic illness.
