5 Silvicultural Work 3469 acres of timber stand improvement and other work possible; 1,200 acres promised. 247 acres of harvest/restoration in Roses Creek Project/Miller Mountain Stewardship Another 103 acres of restoration harvests promised over the next 10 years It should be easy to exceed this goal with Armstrong Creek and another large watershed project

7 Non-native Invasive Plants Linville Gorge EA in progress Forest-wide NNIP EA allows treatment on the rest of the forest. Treatments on Shortoff and Linville Mountain outside Wilderness can begin immediately Wilson Creek is a stated priority in the proposal
