1 Project 6-1 Video/Story board Project Instructions: Working in a group of 3- 4(from any of Mr. Krause’s classes), chosen by you, your group will create a video Or story board about an Algebra 2 concept this spring semester (polynomials, exponentials, “logs”, rationals, radicals, or conics.

2 This video must show all group members in some capacity. No one is exempt from being in the video. The video must be 3-8 minutes long. A story board must be at least 20 scenes with dialog/work on each. The video/story board must have the math concept, show at least one problem workout and solved with the concept. YOU MUST include a memory device – a saying, a song, a rap etc. that will help the viewer/reader remember how to use the math concept.

3 Video project ideas: Newscast, Documentary, A person on the scene of an event or music video. It cannot be a slide show of information (Yawn). If you have questions, please ask.

4 Important dates for the project Friday, May 1st Turn in group pre-project [form A](15%). ONE form for the group, and only 2, 3 or 4 in a group. If turned later, there will be a 10% penalty. 5 Friday, May 15th…..Script [form B](30%) is due. Highlight the math concept (vocabulary words, problems with the answers, “memory device”. You can modify some from the script before performing but keep the words you have selected. If turned in later, there will be a 10% penalty. YOU MUST EMAIL ME A LINK TO YOUR VIDEO OR THE STORY BOARD MUST BE TURNED IN Title of the video should include the following information in this exact order so it is easier to search: KrauseALG2PAP, (insert topic of video), group members first names and class periods. By Friday. May 22nd, the final group form[C] [45%] needs to be handed in at the beginning of class: Title of the video, all participants’ names with their responsibilities listed and a brief summary of what the video is about; listing of the math concept, examples, and “memory device.
