What new roles do you think they started to take on?  Remember if you turn in your project by Thursday you can receive extra credit on a project grade.  Any maps from Thursday 10/02 are due today!!  *Take note of important vocab: suffrage

3 Women’s Rights  During the Progressive Era, women became leaders in reform movements and won the right to vote (suffrage).  New roles for women  Families became smaller, people had less children  New products and inventions reduced some of the work of homemaking  Women took jobs outside the home.  Women’s Right’s Activists and timeline (p. 684-885)
