Use crayons or colored pencils to capture details. 3.Observe the material in the plastic bag. ( do not open) 4.In journal, draw and label a detailed illustration showing the sample in the bag. 5.Turn and talk with your partner what you observe. Record your responses in your journal. 6.Describe the similarities and differences in the colors of your rock sample. 7.Describe the similarities and differences in the size of crystals in your rock sample. 8.Describe the similarities and difference between the igneous rock and material in the resealable bag. 9.Share your observations
