2 Cedar Creek Site 137 Before June 2010 Flood

3 Cedar Creek Site 137 Damage Hole at spillway end Approximately 4 inches of top soil removed from top of dam. Water went over top of dam the entire length except for about 100 feet.

4 Cedar Creek Site 137 Repair Completed Hole repaired Top soil not replaced by exigency dollars.

5 June 9 and 10, 2010 - Overnight the area received approximately 15 inches of rain. June 14 – Looked at site. Discovered hole in Dam June 18 – Eric Daniels, EWP Program Manager, Looked at Site 137. Decided that this would be handled as an exigency situation. EWP will provide 75% of the funding to repair site. June 21 – Site 137 was surveyed. District formally requested EWP assistance. June 25 – Contacted by TSSWCB that the District was eligible to receive 95% of the local cost required from the TSSWCB Structural Repair Grant Program. July 9 – Repair work begins July 20 – Repair work completed TIME LINE

6 Repair Cost - $25,000.00 NRCS EWP Funds provided 75% of the total cost to repair - $18,750.00 TSSWCB Structural Repair Grant Fund provided 95% of the 25% local cost - $5,938.00 Van Zandt County provided the last 5% - $312.00
