3. Starter Activity In pairs discuss what you think renewable energy actually is. Write down a definition on page 21. Task In the UK, we use these different energy sources to produce electricity. Look at the different types of energy on page 21 and decide if this type of energy is renewable or non- renewable. Circle your correct answer.

4. Using the graph, describe how Wales generates its electricity. Give one reason how supplying its energy using non-renewable resources is not sustainable on page 22.

5. Task The information on the page 24 outlines the different possible options that WAG could use to produce renewable energy.
