7 FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY Innovation is crucial to boosting productivity which is the key to faster economic growth and rising living standards. Government can serve two roles: i)catalytic to stimulate activity and adoption, and ii)as a steward of the innovation ecosystem. The development of industry sector strategies and an increased focus on entrepreneurship are priority activities in 2015 for the Victorian Government. Summary
