Behaviors: Behavior for animals include searching for food, attracting mates, etc. Learned vs. Innate: – Innate: Inherited from genes (chewing, flying, crying, etc) Swimming at birth; walking – Learned: Modified through learning and experience Language; dangerous situations When have you learned about adaptations? Behaviors are VITAL to survival! Adaptations help organisms survive!
