3. ltz/pres/facPromTnr_ng3 Choose Folder (CBU-Gen-Portfolio), Template (“CBU Promotion & Tenure Sample”), enter a Title and click on “Save as New Document”.

4. ltz/pres/facPromTnr_ng4 Your new portfolio is created! The Table of Contents lists the five different pages in the document. Click on them to navigate to the different pages. The instructions on this intro page should be deleted once you have added your intro.

5. ltz/pres/facPromTnr_ng5 This is the “Philosophy Statement” Page To enter the “Teaching Philosophy” Section to place that content there, click on the “edit” button

6. ltz/pres/facPromTnr_ng6 This “edit section” screen is an example of the sections where you will put all your content for this portolio Once you’ve added text and done any other editing, be sure to “save” and “finish”

7. ltz/pres/facPromTnr_ng7 Clicking on “Finish” returns you to “view” mode Let’s look at the “Teaching” Page by clicking on that.

8. ltz/pres/facPromTnr_ng8 The “Teaching Page” has five sections You can access each of the sections in order to add content by clicking on any of their “edit” buttons You can access the other “pages” by clicking on their titles You can leave this document to return to others by clicking on their “documents” or “dashboard”

9. ltz/pres/facPromTnr_ng9 Adding Sections This screen displayed by clicking on the “courses taught” icon. Notice that the “section title has changed in the data entry box but NOT in actual title. This is because “save” wasn’t clicked yet (you can see the cursor still there). On the next slide you’ll see the result of changing the title.

10. ltz/pres/facPromTnr_ng10 “edit Section” You may want to create more sections like this one to organize your yearly course evaluations. Remember you are limited to 10 attachments per section.
