2  Devices may be used during non-instructional time (before school, passing periods, lunch and after school).  No recording of staff or students. This is illegal.  Classroom teachers have the final say on device usage during instructional time.  It is the student’s responsibility to be sure that phones are off/on silent during class time.  All device usage during school hours must be school appropriate.  All student devices must be on the school network.

3  STUDENTS must have a passcode on their phones.  THINK before you SEND.  Cell phone bullying is just as serious as verbal and written bullying.

5 Discipline for inappropriate usage will follow SEMS progressive discipline policies. The teachers and administrators will be fair, firm and consistent and consequences will be based on severity and level of disruption to school activities.

6  STUDENTS are responsible for their own devices. PLEASE be responsible and know where your device is at all times.  If teachers do not allow cell phone usage during class time, students must put their devices away in their back packs.  Do not leave cell phones in bathrooms.
