6. THE COVER ART FOR YOUR ALBUM

FOLLOW THIS LINK FOR AN IMAGE TO USE ON YOUR ALBUM COVER. SAVE THIS TO GOOGLE DRIVE (maybe as an image on a Google Doc?) SO THAT YOU CAN FIND IT AGAIN, LATER.

7. USE WHAT YOU HAVE SO FAR…
USING YOUR BAND NAME, YOUR ALBUM/SONG NAME, AND YOUR IMAGE, NOW CREATE AN ALBUM/CD COVER.
USE WORD, POSTERMYWALL.COM, OR WHATEVER FORMAT WORKS FOR YOU TO CREATE AN ALBUM COVER.
SAVE IT TO YOUR GOOGLE DRIVE.
HAVE FUN WITH IT.

9. DESIGN A POSTER FOR YOUR LIVE SHOW
INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING ON YOUR POSTER:
Name of your group
Location of your concert
The date and time of your concert/show
Any highlights (for example, what album you are promoting)
Ticket price

11. WRITING A HIT SONG Write your hit song—one song per group.
YOU ALREADY HAVE THE TITLE OF YOUR FIRST SONG—it is the same as the title of your album—MAKE SURE YOUR SONG FITS THIS TITLE.
You may decide how to do this. Do you each want to take a verse? All of you work together on the entire song?
It must have at least 2 verses and a chorus.
SAVE YOUR WORK ON GOOGLE DRIVE
When you write or type the final draft, make sure to include title, author’s names, and the song itself.

12. PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER
YOU NOW HAVE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
ALBUM COVER WITH NAME OF BAND, NAME OF ALBUM, AND AN IMAGE.
A POSTER ADVERTISING YOUR UPCOMING PERFORMANCE.
A HIT SONG—COMPLETE WITH TITLE AND AUTHOR’S NAMES.
PERFORMING EARNS EXTRA CREDIT.
THESE WILL ALL BE STORED IN GOOGLE DRIVE. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ON MY WEBSITE TO ACCESS THE CORRECT FOLDER.
