4. 1. curriculum- my curriculum goal is to try and get a good level in all areas and in subjects and to try my best in all. 2. Short term- my short term goal is trying to achieve getting good standards and going up in a higher level, to do that I should try hard in all areas especially math's. 3. Extra activities- my school wide goal is to join and try out sports I enjoy and also other activities too. 4. Long term goal – my long term goal is to try and achieve getting my first honours badge and then aiming for my doubles. 5. Personal goal- my personal goal is to try hard in maths. to do that I should practice every night and then test myself on it to see how well I go.

5. My goals for Literacy is: 1.Find, select and retrieve information 2.Make use of prior knowledge 3.Respond using understandings and information 4.Knowledge of vocabulary.

6. My goals for maths is: 1.Write & solve whole number/decimal problems using +,-,x 2.Find and express rules for any member of number sequence. 3.Demonstrate knowledge of conventions for order of operations.

7. Science For Social Science our class have been doing projects. Our class students have been doing different projects I have been studying on Consumer Education. Our class has also been doing an ICAS test. We have been doing 4 ICAS tests, they are English, Maths, ICT and Science. My Science Project

8. P.E For PE we have been doing small ball skills and large ball skills. We have been doing activities which include small balls and large ball skills. My Goal for P.E is to try and learn different skills every time we have P.E and Syndicate sports. For syndicate sport all year 8 have been participating in different kind of sports we have been playing against year 8 classes and to see who gets the top points and that class gets the sports shield for getting the top points, showing leadership, helping each other, full P.E uniform and sportsmanship. My other goal for P.E is to show good sportsmanship and leadership

9. !! Futures/Arts !! For Futures/arts I am in the Cheerleading group which I really enjoy in the beginning I thought it was going to be boring and that I was so shy but now I find that cheerleading can be enjoyed by people. For about 4 weeks we have been practicing our moves for cheerleading. We have futures/arts every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. On Wednesday 2 nd at night all the cultural groups performed and lots of people came to watch, it was so nice. On Thursday 3 rd all the cultural groups performed at the rec-centre at otahuhu near super value they got their by buy bus. They all performed really well and had a great day. All the cultural groups went one by one to the rec-centre.

10. Technology- For Technology I am in the Cooking group. We make a lot of different types of food. we are mainly focusing on yeast, what it is, why it is important and other things about it. For the past 8 weeks we have been cooking food and learning new things every time we went for our class at food technology. I have enjoyed going to cooking class, cooking foods and learning new things about food technology. My goals for Food Technology was to learn new things about food technology every time and to understand the importance of food. My other goals for ICT, Wood tech and Art is to try my best in all and to get a good report back from tech and to learn new things.

11. ICT In ICT my class has been visiting and exploring different sites. We have mainly been exploring A site called LEARNZ, in that site we have been learning about wind power, Renewable energy and Marine reserves. We have also been exploring other sites as well and have been studying about them. I really enjoy doing new things on ICT, it is really fun. My Goal for ICT is to try and learn new things every time we come to the ICT suite and to complete all my tasks on computer on time.

12. Enviro Education: For environment education we are mainly focusing on trees for survival and about the litter of our school. I think that we should do something about our litter we should pick up rubbish if we have to or close the tuck-shop for a day or 2 because people do not know how to look after the environment carefully and that they should put their rubbish in the rubbish bins so that they don’t have to pick up rubbish and we don’t have to close the tuck-shop for a day or 2. for our trees for survival programme we should not cut down trees because trees give us good oxygen so we have good air to breathe in and that we don’t waste the good parts of a tree. My goal for Enviro ed is to try and pick up rubbish when I see it instead of walking over it and to care for the Enviro by cleaning it up and looking after it

13. Term reflections T1: 1. Curriculum- I have achieved my curriculum goal by studying hard and getting a good level in all my subjects and especially maths. 2. Short term- I have achieved my short term goal. I achieved my goal by getting a good level in my maths and by improving by getting better results in my mental maths/speed tests. 3. Personal Goal- I have achieved my personal goal. I achieved my personal goal by practicing my maths every night and by testing myself on how good I am getting now. 4. Long term goal- My long term goal I have not achieved but I am still aiming for my first honours badge, I have 1 more to go and then I am going to aim for my doubles. 5. Extra Activities- For this goal I have not achieved it yet because I have not been joining in any sports but next term I am going to join in more activities and sports.

14. Goals for Term2: Curriculum-My curriculum goal is to get a higher level in my maths and literacy. Short term-My short term goal is to try and achieve getting an 4a or 4b but as long as I achieve it and try hard I will get an 4a or 4b Extra activities-My extra activities is still the same but to join in sports this time and to make an effort by getting their and trialing out for the sports. Long Term- My long term goal is to still and try achieve getting my first honours badge and then getting my doubles !!hope so!!! Personal Goal- my personal goal is to try and practice reading at least a chapter reading at home. To do that I should read a different chapter book every night.
