1. What Do We Like About Sawtry College? We have put our heads together and thought about our favourite things at school – the following is a summary of our thoughts.

What has been your best day at Sawtry College?  Year 11 leavers day – The inflatable assault course was great fun.  Lego Land because it was great fun.  When the water mains broke and we went home early.  Sport Relief because it was for a good cause.  Lego Land because we were allowed time to explore on our own – it was good to be trusted.  Sports day - there was a great atmosphere with our friends and our teachers.  The year 11 leavers assembly was amazing.

3. What was your best ever school trip at Sawtry?  Caythorpe because it was fun and different.  France trip in year 7 – I met friends that I am still friends with now.  Caythorpe because it was a weekend of friends and fun activities.  Lego Land – it was just a day of fun.  Lego Land – It was great spending the day with all of my friends.  Drayton Manor – brilliant rides and we got free time.  Lego Land - some great rides and time with my friends. It was awesome!

4. What is your favourite food from the canteen?  Pizza, shortbread, sausage rolls, Korma curry, Muffins, Pizza, Pizza, fruit pastel ice lollies, ice lollies, chicken tikka curry pot, sandwiches.

5. What is your favourite lesson and why?  Art – I just like art.  Food and Nutrition because we get to cook and the theory isn’t very boring.  Child development – it is really useful knowledge to have.  Art – it’s the only lesson I get to express myself.  IT – it is interesting.  Art – I get to do painting which I like.  Hair and Beauty as we get to go to college.  Food and nutrition because we get to cook.  PE because I like sports.  Music because I want to play an instrument.  Music because I like playing the guitar.  PE because it’s sports.

6. When you leave Sawtry, what will you miss?  I will miss my friends.  I will miss my friends and some of the teachers because they are good.  I will miss my form – I have had the same form tutor for a long time.  My friends, some teachers, trips and the memories I’ve had.  My friends and some teachers because they are great.  My friends because I won’t be able to see them much (6 students said this)  Mr Hughes in art because he is good.

7. What extra could Sawtry do for you to help you achieve your potential?  More good teachers.  Help me to keep up to date with my coursework.  More time doing our options choices.  New uniform and start school later.  Get new buses with more seats.  Clean the buses.  Stop good teachers from leaving.

8. What could YOU do to contribute to your own success?  Revise more.  Put in as much effort as I can.  Do some of the after school clubs.  Improve my attendance.  Stop talking in lessons.  Focus more in lessons.  Concentrate harder.  Join in some school clubs.  Revise.

9. Tell me something interesting about you that you would like to share.  I want to be a zoo keeper.  I play the guitar.  I like fashion.  I can skateboard.  I have a horse and play football and netball.  I go horse riding and I have a cat called Bailey.
