4 Not Joining In Is it a one off or regular occurrence? Encourage the YP to try the activity Remind them they will get to do something they like later Are they frightened of the activity?

5 Shouting and Swearing Is it a one off or regular occurrence? Is there an obvious cause? Are they justified in their feelings?

6 Not Following Instructions Is there an underlying issue? Were the instructions understood? Were the instructions reasonable? Is there a safety issue? Do they understand the WHY behind the instructions?
