6. The following example shows how power feeder or coaxial cable is used to supply power between optical nodes. After a system upgrade there may be spare conduits or coaxial cable that can be used to power the network. SPSM Sample Design 6

7. In the following example two remote power supplies are used to backup the middle power supply. A high current load or long distance between power supplies prevent create high current draws. Another solution is to split the local powering into two sections, then backup each section from a different location. SPSM Sample Design 7

9. In the following example power feeder has been placed between the power supplies locations to provide a more efficient power scheme. This design also eliminates the amplifiers in the coaxial RF cable from impacting power loading as power fails and is restored. SPSM Sample Design 9
