Containment is more reasonable than costly eraradication attempts. 4.Surveillance Alien species database for data collected by researchers as well as citizens are needed. How to execute the eradication and mangement measures, in cases when we already know that the species eradication is impossile? Nice in theory – Challange to implement Big differences between member states Northern and southern Europe are climatically far from each other. One species may be a threat in the northern and another in the southern Europe. Most of the risk assessments are done from a southern point of view, not considering the whole EU area. Listing wrong species may jeobardise the power of the whole IAS regulation
