Falls associated with: – Impaired physical or mental state: 40%. – Activities of daily living and mobility: 21%. – Slips or trips: 34%. Injuries after falls: – 72% sustained injury (ranging from bruising to fractures). 55% sought medical care (32% to emergency department).
