Where does my piece fit? Romans 12:1-8
3
Offer Him Your Life Romans 12:1 We find our value in giving Him His value Let go of your piece and put it in His hands! Only when I give Him all of me will I see all of His plans for me.
4
Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.
5
Be Transformed & find His will Romans 12:2 How can we stay in the old patterns and expect anything to change. As God transforms me through His Word and His Spirit I will start living in what He has for me.
6
Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
7
Think right about you – Romans 12:3 Pride – You need God’s grace just as much as the next guy/girl Romans 12:16 – Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Pity – God wants you to enjoy Himself, His people and His plan for you.
8
Romans 12:3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.
9
Know that there is a place for you Romans 12:4 You are different on purpose 1 Corinthians 12:14-20 1 Corinthians 12:27 – Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
10
Romans 12:4 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.
11
1 Corinthians 12:14-20 Now the body is not made up of one part but of many. If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,”
12
1 Corinthians 12:14-20 it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body,
13
1 Corinthians 12:14-20 every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body.
14
We over Me Romans 12:5 1 Corinthians 12:21-26
15
Romans 12:5 so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
16
1 Corinthians 12:21-26 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor.
17
1 Corinthians 12:21-26 And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it,
18
1 Corinthians 12:21-26 so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

Understand how you’re made Romans 12:6-8 What motivates, convicts and connects to you? o Prophesying o Serving o Teaching o Encouraging o Giving o Leading o Showing Mercy
20
Understand how you’re made Romans 12:6-8 What do you love to do? What are you good at or trained in? What type of personality do you have? What experiences have you had? What has God laid on your heart?
21
Romans 12:6-8 We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach;
22
Romans 12:6-8 if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.
