History In 9th century – Prague became the capital city of Bohemia and later of the Czech Kingdom Period of Charles IV belongs to the most important periods of our history (he founded Charles Bridge, Charles university and so on) Rudolf II invited many artists and scientists to Prague 1918 – capital city of the Czechoslovak Republic 1993 – capital city of the Czech Republic

Transport In Prague people can travel by bus, underground, by tram and by train U-bahn has three lines marked with letters and colors: A (green), B (yellow), C (red). A has got 13 lines B has got 24 lines C has got 20 lines
