5 Information : ·The Czech Republic is situated in Central Europe. ·The Czech Republic has a population about 10,5 millions. ·The capital is Prague with population about 1,2 millions people. · Official language is Czech. ·Czech republic is divided into 14 self- governing regions. ·Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk was first prezident of Czechoslovakia. ·Historical regions are Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia.

6 Prague Prague is the city with historic buildings and monuments,for example: Charles bridge, Charles castle, Letná, Vyšehrad, Petřín (this tower was built as small Eiffel Tower), Old town clock, National Theatre,etc.

7 HISTORY After defeat Austria-Hungary in first world war Czech republic became independent at 28th October 1918 and was Czechoslovak Republic and at 31 th December was independent Czech Republic.

8 The currency in the Czech Republic is the Czech crown. And paper money.

9 Rivers The longest rivers are the Vltava, the Elbe and the Moravia. Vltava is central in city Prague. Bohemia and Moravia are rich in mineral springs and spas - Karlovy Vary, Marienbad, Franzensbad, Poděbrady, Luhačovice, Jeseník, etc.
