2. Eco-Tech is a convention designed to showcase different environmentally-related undergraduate and postgraduate work by different students from several universities within Metro Manila. To add to it’s function, it will also serve as a competition between the different works presented and will be judged by certain dignified individuals. WHAT IS ECO-TECH?

3.  Primarily to promote logical environmentalism, environmental awareness and environmental advocacy, to the members of the academe.  To strengthen the relations between the environmentally active individuals in both the academe and the invited institutions for the purpose of creating a more unified environmental frontier within the academe.  Secondarily, it is to create a bridge between current academe research individuals and business investors.  Thirdly to develop essential team-required skills for both the organizers and members of the project. GOALS OF THE PROJECT

4.  This project aims to promote logical environmentalism, to both observers and participants to see, analyze, and reflect on the scientific and social aspects of the environment while taking part in convention.  At least 15 to participate and 5 credible judges to oversee the event.  Observer traffic of at least 300 people.  Minimum 70% positive feedbacks from observers and participants.  To create business connections between invited key investors and participants  Minimum 20% positive feedback from participants.  Also to enhance the organizational skills which are necessary for the success of the project.  Minimum 70% positive feedbacks from the organizers and participants OBJECTIVES AND SUCCESS INDICATORS

5. Tasks and Timeline PROJECT PLANNING

6.  The project is divided into three major phases namely, the pre-convention, convention, and post-convention phase.  Each phase will be composed of a specified committees and respective task lists that will be completed within the phase duration. PROJECT PLANNING

7.  The purpose of this phase is to calculate for all the necessary requirements prior to the event.  Organization and Internals – the cerebral section of the project. For the purpose of information dissemination within the members of the project, monitoring project time-flow and keeping the project in- check with the mission and vision.  Externals and Registration – the body of the project. For the purpose of direct & indirect contact and information dissemination to the participants and judges.  Promotions and Research - the face of the project. For the purpose of event aesthetics and event structure.  Finance and Marketing – the wallet of the project. For the purpose of quantifying foreseen expenses of the event and at the same time identify possible sponsors. PRE-CONVENTION PHASE

8.  The convention phase will include the committees necessary for day of the event.  Programs – for the purpose of ensuring the general and specific flow of the event at hand.  Documentation – for the purpose of recording the event and survey work.  Logistics – for the purpose of ensuring the fluidity of the event and other logistical matters. CONVENTION PHASE

9.  The purpose of the phase is to process the information gathered during the event and to synthesize the work done throughout the event.  This section will be composed primarily of the members of the organization and internals committee.  Externals committee will also be necessary in contacting POST-CONVENTION PHASE
