1 Corinthians 15:1-4 1 Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. 3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

Please pass the rose around and enjoy its beauty… Be thinking of your choices…

Life Can Change In a moment

Sometimes it just happens A phone call… An accident… A medical diagnosis… My supervisor making an unannounced visit…

Sometimes we make the decision... College, a degree plan, a career path… This job or that job… Should I ask her…? Getting my first raise… What opportunities have you lost because you didn’t… Look at how your life changed when you decided to put on Christ in baptism…

With or Without Faith? Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither — whatever they do prospers.

With or Without Faith? 4 Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. 5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

With or Without Faith? 6 For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

With or Without Faith? Lamentations 3:19 I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall. 20 I well remember them, and my soul is downcast within me. 21 Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope:

With or Without Faith? 22 Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. 24 I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”

With or Without Faith? 25 The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; 26 it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.

With or Without Faith? Romans 8: 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Within Our Control Joshua 24:14 “Now fear the LORD and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD. 15 But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”16 Then the people answered, “Far be it from us to forsake the LORD to serve other gods!

Within Our Control Our choices matter and they do influence others consider Acts 5:1-11… Note the anatomy of sin here… James 1:14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

Within Our Control Luke 9:23 Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.

Don’t under estimate the little choices…

Sometimes things don’t always go as expected…

Sometimes you just have to stick to it…

Don’t give up!

Sometimes we think it’s a little thing when it’s really not… Where is our Rose? What’s happened to our Rose? What’s the future hold for our Rose? What’s our opportunity here?

Have you Obeyed the Gospel? 2 Thessalonians 1:6 God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you 7 and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. 8 He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might

It’s your choice This could be your moment, this could be the moment that makes the difference in your eternity…
