Everyone is the same just different By Karen Austin

Some people are short and some people are tall.

Some of us have blonde hair and blue eyes, and others have brown hair and brow eyes either way we are the same.

Some people may look different because they have special needs, but they still need love just like you and me.

It does not matter how we look it is just nice to have a friend to be with.

Some families are small, but that does not matter; it is being loved that counts.

Some families are large, and it is just being together that is important.

This is what Braille looks like, it helps people to read; who can not see.

Braille is written in a special way. People learn how to read Braille through touch.

There is special equipment that people use to help. This piece of equipment is called a Braille reader.

I love You People who use their fingers to read Braille, also us their hands to express emotions. They feel just like me and you, we all need love.

Some people just need help from a special friend. It is nice to have someone listen.

Many people come from different countries such as Africa.

eggplant Green Bananas rice spinach In Africa they eat many of the same foods as you and I eat.

People in Africa dress differently then you do, but till they need to ware clothes to keep warm and dry.

In Africa they celebrate the holiday Kwanza, this is their Christmas.

No matter what we may look like or where we come from we still feel the same ways, we still like to be treated in a nice way.

There is another country and it is called Asia.

In China their breakfast is call Dim Sum. In the United States we eat eggs, hash browns and sausage. Some people eat cereal. No matter what we eat; everyone eats to stay healthy.

This is how they dress in Asia, it is different than any other country, but still they need to keep warm too. Just like me and you.

In China which is apart of Asia, they celebrate Chinese New Years in February. The United States celebrates New Years in January. It is still the same celebration

Some people celebrate Hanukah, where others celebrate Christmas. It is the Jewish tradition to light the candles instead of having a Christmas tree. Either way we celebrate with family.

No matter where you might be or who you might be with everyone is the same just different.
