4 Article Recap: Main Point: What is the difference between hotel ownership groups, hotel management companies, and hotel brands? Ownership Groups are the point of the pyramid because they own the building and focus on the real estate of it Management Companies are the middle of the pyramid because they run the day-to-day operations of the hotel The Brand is the foundation or the base of the pyramid because it is the name that goes on the side of the building and sets the standards and procedures that are put in place in order to uphold the guest relationships that they have built with their clients.
