1. What To Do On The First Day Of School

2. Welcome to El Camino Real Charter High School!  The first class you will go to on the first day of school is your Reg Room

3.  Reg Room is an abbreviation for Registration Room  It is a temporary homeroom that you will be in for approximately one week  In Reg Room you will hear the morning announcements and will receive additional information about school

4.  Your Reg Room is listed on your class schedule.  Also, there will be Reg Room signs posted in the lobby and hallways  The sign is divided into 4 sections  One section for each grade level Reg Room 9 th 10 th 11th 12th

5.  Each grade level section is divided alphabetically by last name  A 9 th grade student with the last name “Camino” would have Reg Room in room C228 with Mr. Asarch 9 th Grade Last NameRoom #Teacher A-ARDS-3Mrs. Adamczyk ARE-BAVB108Mrs. Adams BAW-BRATT39Mr. Aguilera BRAU-CAREC228Mr. Asarch

6.  After Reg Room you will go to first period and will follow this schedule Reg Room8:01-8:26 Period 18:33-9:24 Period 29:31-10:23 Nutrition10:23-10:39 Period 310:46-11:38 Period 411:45-12:37 Lunch12:37-1:16 Period 51:23-2:15 Period 62:22-3:14

7.  Our nutrition break occurs after second period and is 16 minutes long  You can bring your own snack or buy something from the cafeteria  You can eat anywhere on campus, but most people go out to the quad area

8.  Our lunch break occurs after fourth period and is 39 minutes long  You can bring your own lunch or buy something from the cafeteria  Most people eat in the covered eating area or the quad.  You can’t eat in the building unless you’re in a classroom for a club meeting.

10.  After the first week of school, you will not have to go to Reg Room  Your first period class will be your homeroom
