9 IIMS as strong internationally recognized leading Russian research center specializing in the analysis of the enterprise behavior in transition economies The scope: 7-8 full-time senior fellows + approximately the same number of full-time junior researchers + 3-4 senior researchers and 7-10 junior researchers on part-time basis. The total project financing: about $1.5- 2 million per year. Integration with HSE educational units Organizational flexibility Diversity of the funding sources

11 Academic outcomes (annually, on average for the IIMS in total): one Russian monograph, at least 2-3 articles for international SSCI-rated journals, at least 10 articles for leading Russian journals Analytical output (annually, on average): 5-7 analytical papers for the government (with further possibility of publication in the mass media) and 1-2 HSE policy paper
