1 Frankenstein Grab a book, please

2 Yesterday: We read about Victor’s recovery from being sick over the last two years. Who nursed him back to life? At the end of chapter 6 Victor feels better than he has in a long time. “We returned to our college on a Sunday afternoon: the peasants were dancing, and everyone we met appeared gay and happy. My own spirits were high, and I bounded along with feelings of unbridled joy and hilarity.” When they return to the house, Victor Frankenstein finds a letter from his father stating that William has been murdered.

3 How was William murdered? Victor then sets out to return to Geneva (his hometown). He takes his time while getting home because he is so distraught over the death of his youngest brother. Could he feel some guilt? Why? As he approaches Geneva, it is too late to get into the gate of the town; he decides to visit the place where William was murdered. As he is sitting on a hill, he watches brilliant storms all around him. In a flash of light, Victor sees “the monster” in the same spot as Williams murder. What does he believe now?

4 Today: We will try to finish chapters 7-9. Hopefully, we get to the second death. Pay close attention, it does start to move faster. Tomorrow You will work with SAT words- I will not be here, SAT 6 TEST on MONDAY!
