3 Bellringer What are your 5 most important rights/freedoms you have as an American citizen? List the five you pick and write a few sentences explaining why you picked it USE PAGES 42-50 OF TEXTBOOK IF YOU NEED HELP

4 Supreme Court Case Study Both group member have to do this but work together to complete 1. Get into your assigned group 2. You will be handed a case study of a Supreme Court case at random 3. Read your case study 4. ID both sides of the case 5. ID the constitutional issue and amendment related to the case 6. Write a ½ page summary of the background of the case and the Supreme Court decision 7. Write a paragraph about your personal opinion of the decision 8. Answer the questions at the end of the case study

6 Supreme Court Case Study 1. Pick a group member to stay at your desk and pick a group member to move to other groups 2. Explain your case to the other groups or the other groups that come to you 3. Fill in Supreme Court case chart with info from other groups
