Why use mobile apps? The students find the apps engaging. Many apps allow for students to get a visual representation of the concepts. Students receive instant feedback and can often track their progress. The students can use the apps from their own devices and continue practicing from home.

Middle School Math 7 th Grade Quizzes and games focusing on fluency skills. Helps students track progress and unlock games or more difficult content. Provides explanations of concepts and links to instructional videos that students can use as needed.

Mental Math Challenge Provides strategies for mentally adding or subtracting multi-digit numbers. Challenges students to get as many consecutive problems correct as quickly as they can. Can be used like Mad Minute worksheets to track progress.

Mathdoku+ Played like Sudoku, requiring each number to be played once per row and column. Sections of the puzzle must result in the given sum, product, difference, or quotient. Difficult to complete on the first attempt – requires students to persevere and examine their mistakes.

Math. Provides math support on a variety of topics through examples, practices problems, videos, and quizzes. Good tool for teaching students how to study by examining example problems and applying the skills demonstrated in similar problems.

Geoboard Can be used just like an actual geoboard, but without the hassle of rubberbands. Allows students to shade in figures to see them more clearly. More efficient than creating figures and clearly a board by hand.
