9. Key for Grading (N) Not Meeting Standards The student has not demonstrated the required knowledge and skills of the Georgia Performance standards. Extensive remediation is required. The student has not mastered ALL components of the given standard. The student will have other opportunities to learn the material during the school year. Some students may require extensive remediation to get to mastery. (*) Not Assessed On the report card, standards indicated with an asterisk will be standards not yet assessed during this term. However, a grade will be given by the end of the year.

10. Grading Student Work Graded papers will look different when they come home. The teacher will score the assignment with the number of problems correct on the top and total number of total items on the bottom with teacher comments. Example: 8 (number correct) 10 (total number of items)
