1 Updated Overview of Run II Upgrade Plan Beam Instrumentation Bob Webber Run II Luminosity Upgrade Review February 2004

2 Updated Overview of Instrumentation - DoE Run II Review - February 2004 - Webber 2 Recommendations and ScoreCard From July  T5: Install and commission the planned diagnostics upgrades in the A1 transfer line as soon as possible.  The planned upgrades were installed during the Sept.-Nov. shutdown and are in the process of being commisioned. –BPM signal strength was increased and timing sensitivity reduced –Multi-wire profile monitors upgraded  T6: Commission the transverse feedback systems as soon as possible.  This work is in progress. Horizontal and vertical dampers have been installed and are in the process of being commissioned. –Instability dampers are operational –Injection damper high power amplifiers are received and installed; awaiting beam studies time for system commissioning
