1 CUSTOMER ORDERING QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE December 21, 2015

2 1.Access the Internet and type the following web address into address bar: https://www.bsc.usda.gov/https://www.bsc.usda.gov/ 2. Click on Login (left side of the page)

3 3.Enter your E-Auth User ID and Password if you do not have a LincPass. Press Login. Enter E-Authentication User ID and Password

4 4.Or click on Digital Signature or PIV and enter your PIN.

5 5. To place an order, Click on Create Sales Order.

6 6. Click on New Sales Order.

7 7. A new Sales Order (SO-014413) will be created. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Add New Item.

8 8. Click on the magnifying glass to search products.

9 9. In the Filter field, enter form name or description. Click Apply Filter. Click on the product (Name) to add. Please note the unit of measure. 10. The product selected will appear in Item # field. Enter the quantity (delete 0.00000 and enter whole number such as 3 or 10). Click SAVE!

10 Note: A pop-up box will appear each time you save an item on your order. It is a reminder that you must click Submit Order when finished. Click OK. 11. If order is correct, click Go to Sales Order.

11 12. Scroll to bottom of page and you will see item added. To add more items to order, click Add New Item and repeat steps 8-11.

12 13. When you are ready to send your order, Click Submit Order. REPEAT, CLICK SUBMIT ORDER. Once again, YOU MUST CLICK on SUBMIT ORDER or your order will not process!

13 14. Next, you will receive a Pop-Up box, letting you know where the order will be shipped. If the Address is correct, Click OK and your order will be submitted. If the Address is not correct, click Cancel and edit the Customer ID and the system will bring up the associated address (see next steps to change).

14 15. If the address is not correct for your order, you can edit/change the address by entering the Customer ID for that location/establishment. To do this, either click Edit (top image) or double-click the Customer ID field (bottom image) and enter the alternate Customer ID. Click SAVE.

15 16. After changing the Customer ID on the order, the associated address will be displayed as the Delivery Address. 17. Click Submit Order. The correct address should now be shown in the popup box. Click OK and your order will be submitted.
