4. King Henry the 8 th of England likes the cute Anne Boleyn. MAJOR PROBLEM: Dudes already married, Catholic Church won’t let him get a divorce. Get’s rid of Catholic Church in England, now it’s the Anglican Church, the guy with the face is now in charge of your prayers. Around this time many new “Christian” religions sprout out, causing conflicts between everyone, including in England. The Pilgrims didn’t like the King in charge of Religion, so they went their own way. Hey Baby!!!

6. Was the Mayflower Compact Good? Only rich white men could vote. They respected their religion. Didn’t respect others.

7. Big thing though, their descendants, are US!!! They may not have had the most freedom, but they where searching for it. It’s their relatives that made the Constitution, that allows us all to be, at least somewhat free.

Assignment Title: Can it work 1 st paragraph, Explain from the Magna Carta to the Pilgrims and the Mayflower Compact, what was going on with peoples rights, and why didn’t it work? 2 nd paragraph, did our founding fathers learn from history? Do we today have the freedoms that the Magna Carta and the Mayflower Compact had promised with the Constitution, or is the Constitution just another useless document?
