Clinical Update BMC financial conditions improving Inpatient redesign will take effect June 25, 2011 Continue to track ahead of AY 2010 in collections and wRVU’s BMC Strategic Planning Process underway Consultation Survey has been distributed-please help us improve our clinical services by giving all of our consultation services feedback

Research Update DOM Grant Funding is up 13.3% YTD (was up >40% over two years prior to FY ’11) Research data storage solution being designed-more information to come Bridge Funding deadline June 1, 2011 Biostatistical Core likely to be increased in capacity starting Fall, 2011 Metabolomics Core under investigation

7. Awards The Department of Medicine invites nominations for faculty awards.
