16 Technology/TestNav Configurations Enter TestNav Configurations in PearsonAccess next to manage proctor caching computer configurations and response file save locations. This is the same process districts have used in PearsonAccess.

18 Import SDU/PreID Files From Setup > Import / Export Data, open the task list and select Import / Export Data and click Start Select the type of file you wish to import. Click Choose File and select the file from your local machine that you will upload and import.

30 Precache by Test After configuring TestNav, creating test sessions and adding students to test sessions, you will be able to download, or precache, the test content to the designated caching computer/server. PearsonAccess next allows you to precache content by session or test PreCaching by session allows you to select one or more sessions to cache at a time (will only cache the forms assigned to student in those sessions) Precaching by test allows you to cache ALL forms for a specific test to specific ProctorCache machine

32 Precaching Details Proctor Caching will determine which form(s) are needed for the test session, and display the estimated size of the content, along with the estimated time to download. Select Precache Note: For sessions that do not have any students, proctor caching will download ALL forms for the Form Group Type selected.

33 Precaching Test Session A message will appear to indicate that the caching process has begun. From the Pearson Proctor Cache Java Applet, select Run (the Chrome browser can not be used to precache tests since it no longer supports Java)
