1 GROWTH

2

3 Personal Growth Now What?
2 Peter 3: You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness, (18) but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity.

4 Now What? Proverbs 1:5 A wise man will hear and increase in learning, And a man of understanding will acquire wise counsel,

5 GROWN ENOUGH? Colossians 1: And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, (22) yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach-- (23) if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

6 Summary We were dead in our sins and separated from God
Jesus reconciled us by His blood Presented to GOD We CONTINUE in the faith

7 Not Worth It? Always abounding
1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord. Steadfast Immovable Always abounding

8 Help Others Grow Matthew 28:19-20 How? 2 Timothy 2:15 Ready for What?
1 Peter 3:15

9 We’ve been given a gift!! 2 Timothy 2:1-2 You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. (2) The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

10 Teach & Train our Children
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it. Luke 17:1-2 He said to His disciples, "It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come………., but woe to him through whom they come! (2) "It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble. Lamentations 1:4-5

11 Ephesians 4:14-16 As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; (15) but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, (16) from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.
