1 If I have a disease like Marty’s. At first, I think I would be pessimistic about my life. But then I would learn to adapt to my disablity. As a student, I would would work hard on my studies, I would work hard to achieve my ambition, and to be a useful person. In my daily, I can also assist others like me. I will encourage them to live a rich and full life. I would try my best to adapt to the society. I would enjoy my life. And find out the fun of lives. All in all, I would defeat the disease and live a happy life.

2 There are many disabled people in the world. But I think they can also live rich and full life as others. If I were to develop a muscle disease, to be honest, I can’t imagine what life will I live. I think that I maybe suffer from the students’ laughing and the others’ different sight. These will be a great struck to someone. But I believe that they will accept me one day. In fact, in many ways, my disability has helped me grow stronger psychologically and become more independent. I’m not afraid of my disease. And I think there is nothing different from others. Though I am broken in my body but I am firm in my spirits. I would like to tell you this: having a disability doesn’t mean your life is satisfying. So don’t feel sorry for the disabled. You can also live rich and full a life as others. Why not have a try.

3 Having finished reading the article, I ask myself a question, If I were Marty, what would I do? I think I will feel very sad and hopeless. I would like to talk with others even if my parents. But I also think I am a brave girl and I have many dreams to achieve, so I must become confident and grow stronger psychologically and become more independent, like Marty. I would accept myself and the disease, I would work hard to live a normal life. I would study hard to get a good job. I would’t trouble others. I would be a sunny girl. All in all, I would have a good life. Yes, I would be another “Marty”!

4 If I were to develop a muscle disease, I would become a psychologically strong person. Although many people could make fun of me or feel sorry for me even ignore me, I would adapt to it, and I would become more independent to live as a normal life as normal people. I also would try my best to help others. So many people could give me encouragement to live, then I would live a rich and full life.
