2 Background information: Air Canada Voted the best airline in North America for 4 years in a row. Over 200 destinations worldwide, and connections to and from 65 Canadian cities. Founded in 1936. As of 2006. 34 million people flew with Air Canada.

3 What is Air Canada Awareness? Air Canada Awareness is a flight that donates 10% of each ticket sold to breast cancer and prostate cancer research. It is a unique plane; it is half pink and half blue on the inside and the outside.

4 About Air Canada Awareness Boeing 777-300ER Sits 42 people in International Business Class. 307 seats in economy class. Personal touch screen computer on every seat with access to audio and video entertainment. Wheelchair accessible lavatory.

5 A look inside Air Canada Awareness One half of the plane will be completely pink, and the other half will be completely blue. Food served on the plane will correspond with the colour of the plane. The inside as well as the outside of the plane will be either pink or blue. Complementary items such as headphones will follow the colour scheme. Tickets will be in either pink or blue. All staff will be dressed professionally, with either a pink or blue cardigan and a pin representing either breast cancer or prostate cancer.

7 Just like any flight, will have an airline safety video at the beginning of the flight; we will also include a short video with some facts about breast cancer and prostate cancer, as well as some survivor stories.

8 Charity Information 10% of each ticket sold goes towards breast cancer and prostate cancer research. When purchasing your ticket, you pick your preferred side of the plane. For the first ever flight, 100% of the profits from ticket sales will be donated to research for prostate and breast cancer. Every year on the anniversary date of the first flight, 100% of profits will also be donated.

10 Prostate Cancer Statistics Most common cancer among men. 23,600 men will be diagnosed, this represents 24% of all new cases in men in 2014. 4,000 men will die, this represents 10% of all cancer deaths in 2014. On average, 65 Canadian men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer each day. On average, 11 Canadian men will be die of prostate cancer each day.

11 Breast Cancer Statistics Most common cancer in women. No known cause. 24,400 Canadian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer each year, and 5000 will die from it. On average, 67 Canadian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer each day. On average, 14 Canadian women will die of breast cancer each day.

12 Survivor Discounts All cancer survivors automatically get 10% off their ticket price, while still keeping the 10% donation to research. Survivors will automatically be placed in 1 st class seating, at the cost of coach.

Twitter: tweeting about the planes location, using the hashtag #AIRCANADAAWARENESS Promoted on the Air Canada website. Promoted on the Air Canada Facebook page. Magazines, newspapers, etc.
