5 FormatPunctuation  Regular Formatting = Four or less lines of prose  Block Formatting = Four or more lines of prose  Remove quotes  Free standing block of text  New Line, indented one inch  Parenthetical Reference should come after the closing punctuation mark  See OWL for more examples  Periods, semicolons, commas = AFTER the Parenthetical reference  Question marks & Exclamation points in the physical text go INSIDE the quotations.  Quotations go around the stated text.
