2 2 Link Rapporteur Group Activities History The Link Rapporteur Group (RG) was chartered by IEEE 802.16m Task Group (TG) Chair during the Session#56 The objective of Link RG is to conduct the harmonized text proposal on the topics of Link Adaption, Power Control and Interference Mitigation for possible adoption by TGm during the Session#57 The IEEE 802.16 members I-Kang Fu, Ali T. Koc and Baowei Ji was designated as the Chairs of Link RG to coordinate the harmonization activities and to draft the harmonized text proposal The Link RG Chairs have uploaded the latest harmonization results to the TGm upload server by the contributions C802.16m-08/1017r1, C802.16m- 08/1018r1 and C802.16m-08/1019r1.

3 3 Link Rapporteur Group Activities History The following is the brief history of the activities among Link RG participants between Session#56 and Session#57 2008/07/24 RG Chairs released Initial Draft 2008/07/31 Deadline for members to submit contributions for ToC in Initial Draft 17 contributions received from Link RG server and TGm email reflector 2008/08/01 RG Chairs finalized the ToC in Initial Draft 2008/08/12 Deadline for members to submit contributions for Intermediate Draft 44 contributions received from Link RG server and TGm email reflector 2008/08/19 RG Chairs released Intermediate Draft

4 4 Link Rapporteur Group Activities History The Link RG activities during 2008/09/05 till 2008/09/16 2008/09/12 RG Chairs released Final Draft and updated the corresponding TGm contribution

5 5 Link Rapporteur Group Activities History Brief summary from Session#56 till the begin of Session#57 Link RG received 87 contributions from RG upload server and numerous email comments/discussions from TGm email reflector The latest harmonized text proposal had been uploaded to TGm upload server by the contributions C802.16m-08/1017r1, 1018r1 and 1019r1. 10 pages harmonized text proposals on Link Adaption, Power Control and Interference Mitigation are ready for possible adoption by TGm members 5 pages unresolved text with bracket is waiting for member’s decision via the reply comments and/or the face to face meeting Link RG need additional time slot for face-to-face discussion to determine including those bracketed text or not
