3 Action points from the last meeting -Share FSAC strategy for 2016 with all FSAC partners – (Achieved) -Conduct and share update of the proposal and report writing training with the partners. (Achieved) -Provide update of the reporting requirements on earthquake response (no more update required at weekly basis – back to quarterly reporting) -SAG meeting to decide about FSAC packages for 2016 (SAG conducted discussion and decided to have regional level food basket. Initial results to be presented today) -Forming a group on post distribution monitoring tools for finalization of tools and guidelines (tools already shared for inputs).

7 Proposed FSAC Packages – subject to approval by ministry -Daily wage unskilled labor minimum 300 Afs -Daily wage rate for skilled labor minimum 650 Afs -Agriculture package Wheat seed (50 Kg – 1300 Afs), Urea (50 Kg – 1500Afs) and DAP (50 Kg - 2700 Afs) -Kitchen gardening tools and at least 4 types of seasonal vegetable seed enriched in micro nutrients. -Poultry package must include minimum 8 hens and 2 rosters.

8 -Total number of families assessed so far is 8,000 in PD I to 7. -Total families received food assistance till to date is 8,000 (443.89MT food distributed) Kunduz Response Updates

9 Earthquake Flash Update – 25th December Incident Summary: The 6.3 magnitude earthquake that struck north-eastern Afghanistan on the evening of 25 December which affected 680 people in 22 districts, injured 15 people, damaged 91 homes and six homes destroyed.

10 Earthquake Response – 26th Oct Families Assessed & eligible: -Families Assessed & eligible: Total 20,990 families affected across the country, including (10,908 families in North and Northeastern Region, 8,058 families in Eastern Region, 1,862 families in Central and 162 families in South Eastern Region). (IOM) Families Received Food & Cash Assistance: -Total 14,119 families received food assistance including (6,793 families in the North and Northeastern Region, 6,011 families in the Eastern Region, 1,288 families in the Central Region and 27 families in South Eastern Region) as well as 567 families received cash assistance.
