Main Objectives of the Study to give an insight into broad concepts of ‘sustainability’ and ‘sustainable lifestyles’ to analyze ‘sustainable lifestyles’ from an educational perspective at tertiary level to highlight main types of literacies keeping in view core traits of 21st century generation to outline practices of higher education institutions and illustrate them by the project ‘UseScience’

Types of Literacies 1. Digital Literacy 1. Technical or instrumental form - specific skills and techniques (e. g., computer literacy) 2. Critical form - mastery of ideas, careful evaluation of information, intelligent analysis and synthesis (e. g., critical sustainability literacy ) 2. Information Literacy the ability to obtain, evaluate, use and share needed information motivating the behavior of sustainable lifestyles
