2014 and beyond… How can we prepare our citizens to be: –Autonomous / self-directed –Independent –Life-long learners –Critically engaged / critical thinkers –Problem solvers, creative & adaptive –Social, civic & corporate responsibility (appropriate behaviours, approaches, cognitive functions & skills)

Group activity (30 mins) What is your opinion of the concepts of a ‘digital native’ and ‘21st Century Skills’ –Review two blog posts, which argues that these concepts are ‘myths’ –Share your viewpoint and develop a response to the post –Share your response with the group
