2 Center for Research in Urdu Language Processing Localization Need: “to build a people-centered, inclusive and development oriented information society, where everyone can create, access, utilize and share information and knowledge (in the language best known to them)” 1 Need: “to build a people-centered, inclusive and development oriented information society, where everyone can create, access, utilize and share information and knowledge (in the language best known to them)” 1 Definition: Definition: Enabling ICTs in the local language of the user Specifically, it is enabling computing experience in linguistic culture of the user.
