6 Goal Setting It’s important to set goals at a level that is appropriate to the individual’s situation. Mindtools.com notably mentions that setting goals helps build self- confidence. Questions to ask: What skills and what knowledge are required? What resources are needed? How can I get them? How can I break up each large goal into smaller accomplishments? Is this the best path to complete the goal? Do any of my goals conflict with each other? Are some components the same? Is there any assistance I will need along the way? Who is my support system? What things might get in my way and, anticipating them, how will I deal with them? How will I remind myself of this goal so it doesn’t get forgotten? What will be the reward?

12 Interview Reasons to do the interview (other than it is a part of the Final Project): You will learn more about what that person does in his/her job, helping you to understand a little more about that particular career. It is a networking experience, out of which professional connections may arise. It’s good practice with professional communication skills. It’s good practice with time management skills. It’s good practice for note-taking. The assessment of the interview written for the Final Project will also take critical thinking skills.
