1 How to use e-mail in outlook 365

2 Opening outlook 365 Firstly you want to click the windows button in the bottom left corner of your screen which will open up this selection of options. Then you need to click on all programs to give you the next options screen. After opening this menu of folders you want to open core programs and then click on out look 365 if it is not visible on the screen then scroll down using the mouse.

3 Logging into outlook 365 If you are greeted on outlook with this screen then simply press the small x on the highlighted tab

4 Logging into outlook 365 When you reach this screen you want to type in your school username which you use to log onto computers or laptops and then after it you want to type @keswick.cumbria. sch.uk Your password is your 4 number passcode for your Keswick school log in This is what your screen should look like when you have logged in.

5 Opening and sending emails in outlook 365 To open up a new blank email click on the new mail button at the top left of your screen This taskbar should then open up on the right hand side of your screen this is what you will use to send all of the different types of email and files To send and email to another teacher or student click on the to button and type in their name in contacts and oppress enter Click on the persons name to set them as the recipient of your e-mail.

6 Sending an e-mail continued Then write a subject and then type what you want to say and click send

7 Adding a file or files To add a file simply just click on insert and then on attachment and then click on whatever file you want to send

8 Adding a read receipt Now message options and then click for a read receipt A read receipt is a message that pops up on the recipients screen that asks them to give permission to tell the sender when they opened the message firstly to need to click on the three dots to get another menu screen

9 Adding importance Click on the three dots and get the second menu screen then click on set importance and set it as high importance if you want it to be

10 How to delete an e-mail and carbon copy Just click on the red x to delete the e-mail. If you accidently delete something without meaning to then you can go into deleted items to get it back To carbon copy an e-mail just click on the Cc and search for a persons name like you do when sending a normal e-mail and click on their name. A carbon copy sends the e-mail to several people and they are notified who else got the e-mail.
