2. Water is a natural resource. It is important for the survival of all living organisms, as it is its main constituent, just think that the human body contains about 70% of this element. 4. The table above represents the quality of water which is supplied by our regional aqueduct in Molfetta and its surrounding towns, in other word the water which flows from our houses’ taps. Water is a fundamental element man’s life, in fact we cannot without it. Our society does not understand however the importance of water and for this reason increasing amounts of this precious element are wasted. It would be sufficient that we pay attention to small gestures to prevent waste, we should for example turn off the tap while brushing our teeth or wash our clothes only when the washing machine is really full up.
