2 Grand Canyon The Grand Canyon is a steep-side canyon carved by the Colorado River. It’s situated in the state of Arizona (USA). It has 446 km long, up to 29 km wide and a depth of over 1.83 km. It’s one of the 7 Natural Wonders on Earth and a very popular place to visit.

3 The Grand Canyon exposes nearly two billion years of the Earth’s geological history, and recent evidences suggests that the Colorado River established its course through the canyon at least 17 million years ago. Grand Canyon

4 The Skywalk is a tourist attraction in the edge of a side canyon in the Grand Canyon, near the Colorado River. The height of the vertical drop directly under the Skywalk is between 150 m and 240 m. We can see beautiful landscapes from there.

5 Now we are going to present a small video that shows some of the views from the Grand Canyon and the Skywalk.

6 Johnstone Strait The Johnstone Strait is a 110 km channel throught the north east coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. It has between 2.5 km and 5 km wide. This strait is home to approximately 150 orca whales during the summer months. They are often seen by kayakers and boaters packed with tourists. It’s a great place to visit.
