Dear Nicky… I now have hope where previously there was only despair. I can forgive now, where before there was only coldness. God is so alive for me. I can feel him guiding me and the complete and utter loneliness which I have been feeling is gone. God is filling a deep, deep void

Dear Nicky… I now have hope where previously there was only despair. I can forgive now, where before there was only coldness. God is so alive for me. I can feel him guiding me and the complete and utter loneliness which I have been feeling is gone. God is filling a deep, deep void I felt like hugging everybody in the street. I cannot stop praying, I even missed my bus stop today because I was so busy praying on the top deck

The Witness of Holy Spirit If God himself has taken up residence in your life…. You yourself experience life on God’s terms Romans 8:9 It stands to reason, doesn’t it, that if the alive-and-present God who raised Jesus from the dead moves into your life, he’ll do the same thing in you that he did in Jesus, bringing you alive to himself? Romans 8:10
23
The Witness of Holy Spirit When God lives and breathes in you… you are delivered from that dead life. With his Spirit living in you, your body will be as alive as Christ’s! Romans 8:11

The Witness of Holy Spirit When God lives and breathes in you… you are delivered from that dead life. With his Spirit living in you, your body will be as alive as Christ’s! Romans 8:11 So don’t you see that we don’t owe this old do-it-yourself life one red cent. There’s nothing in it for us, nothing at all. The best thing to do is give it a decent burial and get on with your new life. God’s Spirit beckons. There are things to do and places to go! Romans 8:12-14

New life This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant… God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are Romans 8:15-16

God says… I love you. I love you with all my heart. No matter what happens in life, I will never harm you, I’ll always protect you. I will always be your father, I will always be your friend. I’ll always care for you. And I’ll do this no matter what you do, no matter whether you turn from me or not, I’ll always love you
35
A simple prayer Lord Jesus I know you are alive and are still changing lives today. Please change mine. Forgive me Lord for my life lived without you. I invite you in right now as my Lord and Saviour. Please come and change me. Amen.
